Maths Workshops for KS1 and KS2 Students

Maths Week England

A single tetrahedron doubled and doubled again

Join us for Maths Week England from 15th to 23rd November 2025 at your primary school for our exciting workshops!

This year’s theme is “connection or coincidence.”

Engage children in primary schools from EYFS to KS2 in our unique workshops. Using our 2D and 3D shape workshop, children will create 2D shapes and then transform them into 3D shapes. They’ll explore how these shapes connect, or if it’s just a coincidence. Once a 3D shape is created, they’ll double its size to see how many shapes are required, and investigate if there’s a pattern.

We’ll delve deeper into the different properties of each shape and explore the new structures that have been created. For example, doubling the size of a tetrahedron reveals an octahedron nestled in the middle. Is this a connection or just a coincidence?

We currently have availability for this week, so if you’d like a day full of fun maths, get in touch! You can WhatsApp, email, or fill in the contact form.
